I missed playing with my DJ program. I decided to press record and see what could be created. I didn’t know what I set out to do. I just knew I wanted to play. Mid-way through, I knew I had something special in the making. When it ended, the mixtape created was a mish-mash of breaks, funk and old school Hip Hop with a sprinkle of pop joints. The tape reminds me of how spring makes me feel. Spring has Sprung.
